How Walks Work

Each walk is described with a grade, distance, ascent, duration and meeting point. For example:

Example Walk Description

SHEEP'S HEAD WAY (C: 16 km, 400 m, 5.5 h) Kilcrohane 1130 (Grace & Deirdre)

This tells you it's a C grade walk, 16 km long with 400 m ascent, taking about 5.5 hours. Meet at Kilcrohane at 11:30. Walk leaders are Grace and Deirdre.

Please note: For insurance reasons, all walks are for club members only. There are no trial walks.

Walks can be cancelled due to bad weather. Check the weekly email to club members for the most up to date information regarding planned and extra walks.
